Our client a nationally recognised membership body with 13,000 volunteers and 2,200 organisations as members is currently recruiting for a Volunteer Manager.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
To serve as “Recruitment Manager” for implementation of the committee member and chair recruitment process and to participate in the ongoing development of our approach to recruitment.
To serve as a first point of contact for all existing and potential standards-makers’ general queries and manage the standards-makers inbox. To have primary responsibility for internal and work in partnership with the Communications Manager on external recruitment communications, having primary ownership for producing recruitment / get involved content.
To play a key role in the development and delivery of a standards-makers external communications plan and have primary responsibility for supporting to colleagues with targeted recruitment communications and outreach.
To play a lead role in overseeing and in on-going development of the new committee member onboarding process.
To champion the retention and improving the experience for committee members and nominating organizations in their relationships with through proactive involvement in internal and external comms and programme development.
To have primary ownership of the autumn Standards Conference & Awards while maximizing the impact of the input from the Conferences & Events and Marketing teams as well as other colleagues in the continued growth and success of these events.
To act as champion for standards-makers with internal stakeholders and be proactive about internal stakeholder engagement and communications to help colleagues across Knowledge Solutions better recognize the value of our standards-makers to “the business”
To take on and further develop other areas of Standards-makers Engagement & Inclusion as and when required.

Working with volunteers and/or members, including recruitment and retention activities
Experience developing and/or administering volunteer / membership management procedures
Experience delivering change as part of a team
