Sales Director.  Software Provider.  Central London.  Up to £90k with £180k OTE plus share options plus benefits.  Full Time Permanent role.

The Role:

 

As the Sales Director you will be responsible for ultimately winning and retaining revenue by leading, managing and accountability for the “Sales Function” identifying, cultivating and executing on opportunities and relationships to grow sales and repeatable revenue streams, while also fostering a high-performance culture within the Sales function.

 

The purpose of the role is to drive company’s growth by retaining and x selling to existing contracts and accelerating new customer and logo acquisition, in specific verticals to meet quota (quantity, type and timeliness) whilst aligning to the marketing and sales go to segment plans.  

 

Running a sales team including business acquisition, account/ customer success management.  

 

You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from finding new opportunities to developing highly compelling sales proposals and influencing the entire buying process, through to contract negotiations, closing business and finally initial project handover. Through to customer retention and expand.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

 

Bachelor of Business or Finance preferably

Proven experience as commercial or sales director or other relevant role within a SME environment, with accelerated growth B2B and strong metrics focus

Proven experience and track record in sales and/or new business development marketing and winning and managing relationships with key clients from major and global clients

In-depth understanding of marketing methods and analysis for revenue growth in a professional services and software company.

Exceptional influencing and persuasive skills face to face, in large meetings and in proposals/writing.

Reporting and forecasting monthly with critical adjustments daily

Daily sales stand up huddles and strategic pitch sales planning clinics to playbooks

Commercially driven thinker who thrives in context of ambiguity and cuts through to focus on long term effective outcomes

Proven track record in accelerating an organisation's growth and success

Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Experience with strategic and direct sales. AOV £1m and £20k respectively

Experience with selling customer value and differentiation to outmanoeuvre the competition.

Collaborative approach and comfortable working in a dynamic agile fast paced team environment.

Driven to achieve objectives with passion for success

Excellent organisation skills, with attention to detail if the result counts on it.
