Basic Salary Up to £55,000 plus 25 days leave plus a day on your birthday. Also usually get 3 days between Xmas and New Year – but this is at the discretion of the CEO, Season ticket loan (after passing probation), Pension: 5% employer contribution (after 3 months) Life insurance – 3 times salary if death while working at (after passing probation). Flexibility to work from home in agreement with line manager. Quarterly programme of social events.
A stunning opportunity for a skilled and experienced Product Manager to join the team of a highly respected not for profit membership-based association.
The Product Manager is responsible for existing and legacy membership packages offered across multiple platforms. This includes the definition of products based on research, customer feedback, web and social media data analysis; management of benefit suppliers for insured/non-insured products and partner offerings; and the internal and external communication of the membership packages. This role involves a high level of collaboration across internal teams and external suppliers to define and deliver optimum products for the self-employed and freelancers in a range of industries.
Manage the product roadmap across all channels and brands
Work with third party suppliers to provide the optimum membership products and benefits, including insurance and service providers
Ensure that product benefits are clear, consistent and understood both internally and externally via training, website and marketing communications.
Analysis of research and engagement data to measure product effectiveness, and provide recommendations for new and existing membership products
Work with the marketing and sales teams to maximise the target audience for membership packages including group/individual customer acquisition and retention
Ensure the membership packages are correctly set up and tracked within back end systems (CRM/CMS), and all processes are optimised for data collection and member communications
Set up and manage data analytic tools to maximise the user engagement data for both members and non-members.
Define and deliver regular reporting to the leadership team and Board based on membership numbers, trends and customer engagement
Ensure that product Terms and Conditions are correct and up to date.
Manage the budget for product development and related activities
4+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a membership or subscription organisation
Proven experience of contract negotiation with third party suppliers
Excellent presentation skills – both orally and via relevant media
Experience in interpreting research, membership, engagement and social media data
Understanding of legal requirements for products including Terms and Conditions, insurance products and GDPR obligations
Experience in the design, review and implementation lifecycle for product management
Relevant educational and/or vocational achievements
Membership product development and pricing
Data Analysis – working knowledge of a range of data analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, HotJar, Zapier
CRM and CMS tools for website content and data collection
Report writing for management and board level
Training definition and provision to internal and external stakeholders
Business case writing for new and updated products
Competitor comparison offerings and market trends
