A stunning opportunity to join a well-respected membership organisation, leading financial services-chartered institute with a global reach. Our client is looking for a Membership Marketing Manager.
The post holder will assist in driving member engagement by working collaboratively with other departments (such as Marketing, Events, Learning Solutions, Corporate Development and Customer Service). In addition, they will manage the membership lifecycle from joining to renewal, helping to ensure that members receive valuable membership experiences.
The role will include segmentation of membership journeys, refinement of membership propositions and driving membership lifetime value. The Membership Marketing Manager will manage, develop and deliver a carefully selected range of membership services and will be responsible for their promotion.
Within the scope of the role will be the development and promotion of a comprehensive programme of face to face and digital CPD events and other CPD resources. Developing, delivering and measuring a range of targeted marketing campaigns using CRM to increase membership and drive engagement will also be key to the role, as will ensuring our propositions remain well positioned in the competitor environments.
The individual will have line management responsibility of two employees and will require occasional travel.
Key Qualifications & Experience Required
You will be someone with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
You will have proven marketing experience working in a fast-paced environment and a proven track record of delivering high quality projects and marketing campaigns.
Ideally, you will be someone who has experience in a membership body, the financial service sectors.
You will hold a degree or equivalent and be CIM qualified or equivalent and have practical experience of getting the best from a range of external design and fulfilment agencies.
In addition to marketing experience you will also have project managing experience and people management experience. You will have a creative flair, excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have strong copy writing skills.
You will have proven track record of independently building and executing a comprehensive marketing plan, that supports core business objectives, and taking direct responsibility for delivery and achievement of KPIs.
You will have experience in managing external creative agencies and have experience in brand management and controlling and evolving a portfolio of brand assets.
You will have a strong focus on marketing measurement, ensuring that all budget is committed against a clear ROI and tracked with meaningful KPIs. You will be comfortable challenging colleagues appropriately on the most effective marketing mix to achieve the business objectives.
