My client a leading charity based in the Euston, Central London is currently looking for a Membership Manager.
Transform and lead and the entire membership experience to deliver membership recruitment, retention and revenue targets.
To oversee the preparation and delivery of an on-target income and expenditure budget relating to Membership
Lead and transform the entire membership journey, meeting KPI as agreed
Develop and execute strategies and tactical plans for an acquisition and retention
Commission and manage external agencies to provide strategic support and tactical activity
Devise an implement a constant improvement plan for Members club, increasing take up and individual benefit rate.
Develop schedule of communications in Marketing cloud for renewals and new members acquisition
To proactively identify statistical trends, using this information to develop an understanding of our members/customers and their interaction our services, and to act on this intelligence to provide new opportunities to increase membership take-up/retention
Manage acquisition mailings to grow membership
To continuously review the existing benefits and services, ensuring that member feedback and insight is captured, considered and used as appropriate
Plan and execute outreach events and other opportunities to promote membership.
Analyse and draw actionable insight from multiple data points
Proactively identify statistical trends to develop an understanding of our members/customers and their interaction our services, and to act on this intelligence to provide new opportunities to increase membership take-up/retention
Monitor membership acquisition and retention activity and report as appropriate
Prepare budget analyses and forecasting.
To add insight and relevance to any communications to members
To assist as brand guardian and ensure all communications follow brand guidelines
To participate in marketing team meetings and contribute to overall department targets
Commercially aware and budget focused
Excellent organisational and admin skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience of dealing with third party relationships or working in partnership with others.
To maintain the weekly membership reports
To manage the house swap scheme
To oversee individual giving programme
To ensure relevant information is posted and regularly reviewed on babble.
Background in either not-for-profit or commercial sectors
At least three years’ experience of leading a membership programme for a similar sized or larger organisation
At least three years’ experience of continuous improvement of a commercially driven membership benefits programme
At least three years’ experience of developing, delivering and evaluating market-led strategic planning
At least three years’ experience of Salesforce or a similar CRM system
At least three years’ experience of directing creative and service agencies
Good organisation and administration skills
Computer literate, including Excel and basic web packages
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Experience of the commercial sector
Marketing related degree or equivalent experience.
