Membership & Marketing Manager
Basic Salary £34,235 to £40,112 Pro Rata dependant on experience with excellent benefits
6 Month Contract, Full Time

Our client a political party based in the Central London is currently recruiting for a Membership & Marketing Manager on an initial 6-month contract
If you have current or recent membership and marketing manager experience for membership organisation or similar we would love to hear from you.
Adept at turning insight into marketing and communications messaging, you will lead on the delivery of central Party activity to recruit, activate and retain members to the Party. You will work closely with other departments on the development of digital member-focused content to help us build better engagement with members and supporters across England and Wales.
You will understand a range of approaches to create relation-based operations for growing the organisation’s membership and engaging members in the democratic process and activities of the Party, including supporting engagement of members in key campaigns.
You will lead an annual evaluation of our membership offer as relates to organisational impact goals, reviewing it to ensure the membership offer meets members’ and Party needs efficiently and effectively.
You will be an ambassador for good membership practice at all levels of the Party and able to secure enthusiastic buy-in from paid staff and volunteers to membership development initiatives. You will be intensely curious about what works, open to new ideas and experimentation, and a strong team worker.
You will manage a team of 3 - Membership Resources & Engagement Officer, Membership Support Officer, Young Organiser
Knowledge, Experience & Attributes Required
Experience managing impact led customer success or membership recruitment and engagement in a sales and marketing or membership organisation
Experience developing an evidence-based user journey to develop customer or member loyalty
Experience utilising CRM tools to build relational experiences informed by behavioural insights
Experience developing integrated communications campaigns using a mix of marketing materials and working with different internal stakeholders to align customer or member experience with organisational priorities
Data analysis & segmentation skills
Strong copywriting skills
Excellent line management & relationship building skills
Ability to convene and support groups of employees and volunteers
Best practice in the development of a positive member/support experience
