Membership and Finance Officer

Central London – Hybrid Working

Basic Salary £34,785

3 Months, Fixed Term Contract, Full Time


My client a leading professional membership body based in Central London with over 18,000 members of all ages, stages or disciplines across the UK is currently recruiting for a Membership and Finance Officer.


The role on a 3 month fixed term contract basis is to provide administrative support and database testing for the Membership and Finance teams.


Key responsibilities:


This should include a list of the main responsibilities of the role. Most roles can be described in no more than eight bullet points.

To provide administrative support within the Membership team, helping to respond to member queries, join members, and administer a range of membership processes using the current CRM system as well as more paper based activities

To provide administrative support within the Finance team, helping to input payments into Sage 50, purchase ledger reconciliations and to perform corporate credit card entries

To complete testing of the new CRM database on behalf of the Finance team, as well as other teams

To test the new online member portal, completing journeys and reporting back on whether they work and the user experience

To provide administrative support to wider teams


Knowledge, skills, and expertise:

Working within a membership organisation, completing membership processes and administration

CRM and databases experience required, particularly for membership and finance

General administration using online and paper based systems

Flexible, as will need to support multiple teams and do a range of duties- some more complex than others
