Basic Salary £35,000-£40,000 dependant on experience with excellent benefits

My client a leading trade association based in Central London is currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team.


As Marketing Manager this role will cover five key areas:


Planning and delivery of membership marketing campaigns to existing members to create their engagement with the trade association and its activities.Key KPI’s will be membership retention statistics, engagement with the trade association activities and awareness of the trade associations across the membership base. Campaigns will be targeted and segmented

Development, evaluation and on-going management of the website

Planning and delivery of marketing campaigns to potential members to raise awareness of the trade association and drive membership of its operator base.

Marketing of headline events, webinars and seminars.

Support of the Commercial Consultant in ensuring delivery of “promises” in supplier commercial contracts and partnerships that are marketing related.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:


Planning and delivery of the trade associations membership marketing and communications to existing and potential members of the trade association working with the Membership Manager to drive engagement and awareness of the trade association

Planning and delivery of multi-media marketing campaigns to raise awareness and drive uptake of key member benefits by members

Management, development and development of the website. This should consider a customer experience strategy and take account of the development of the online bookings/member joining/renewal system (YM) to enhance recruitment and retention including marketing automation, methodology and a targeted customer experience mapping.Tracking and analytical data reports should be provided to support the Membership Manager re: website usage, opening rates and engagement. This role will be asked to input into future plans and ways of working evaluating success of campaigns and activities on an ongoing basis

Continued development and integration of an online booking/payment process for all events with the Membership

Digital marketing – SEO, Google Analytics, SEM, Remarketing and Search – make recommendations and execute once approved

Plan and develop a multimedia marketing communications plan for all headline events to deliver maximal delegate attendance and execute.

Support the commercial consultant to deliver contracted requirements to commercial partners/supplier members

Coordinate and maintain effective internal communications to ensure all relevant functions are informed of membership marketing activities

Be the lead point of contact for partnerships with third parties e.g.: industry event related to maximise profile and engagement.Also ensure return on support for the trade association in raising awareness of the trade association, its objectives and role in the industry.

To work with the COO and membership team to produce a library of literature/documentation to promote and membership benefits including documents to promote benefits of membership, membership propositions, why join, membership application forms etc

Support with in-house design production and materials through Adobe Photoshop and InDesign at times of peak workload and as business requires.NB: this is supported by an external design agency to support on key projects and times of peak workload.

To be the brand ambassador for ongoing development and implementation of brand guidelines across the organisation

Work with the communications team to develop awareness, recognition and understanding for the role of and for the trade association

To create content from activities in order to market and community to the industry and the membership
