The role of Marketing Manager
The purpose of your role is to grow the institute’s membership, customer base and reach; drive revenue by maximising engagement with our portfolio of products and services; and raise awareness of the institute’s brand through the development and management of impactful and engaging multi- channel marketing campaigns.
In your role as Marketing Manager, you are responsible for:
Developing and implementing cost-effective, data-driven, and creative multi-channel marketing plans with clear targets and objectives
Managing the execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish, securing wider internal support as needed
Identifying target audiences, leveraging segmentation where possible, and ensuring the most relevant channels and messaging are used for each audience
Ensuring all marketing creative and messaging is of a high standard, targeted with compelling propositions, and consistent with the brand
Managing a variety of marketing budgets and ensuring marketing spend is optimised
Analysing marketing KPIs and identifying improvements to drive performance
Regularly reporting on KPIs to keep the wider Marketing Team updated on performance
Providing marketing support to wider teams and initiatives
Maintaining existing and developing new relationships with key strategic partners
Maintaining an awareness of consumer trends and marketing best practices and applying your learning in your day-to-day role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management, time management and decision-making skills
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and strategy, including digital and social media marketing
Proficiency with marketing tools, such as CRM, CMS, analytics, and email platforms
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to accurately interpret data
Good inter-personal skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships
Excellent people management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Strong numeracy and budget management skills
