Our client a leading professional representative body with 17,000 individual members in England and Wales is currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive


The Role


The Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing campaigns for the professional representative body’s portfolio (including all of the organisation’s services, products, memberships, events and training), communicating policy and campaign initiatives and programmes, and working with the organisation’s business partners to deliver their agreed marketing activity.

The post holder will use a range of channels including targeted email campaigns, email newsletters, social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) and online advertising to achieve measurable results and drive RoI.

Person Specification


Essential: Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Desirable: Professional qualification in marketing.



Essential: Previous experience of producing and delivering marketing campaigns in a similar role.

Essential: Experience of using Microsoft Office, a CRM system (e.g. MS Dynamics) and a mass email system (e.g. Dotdigital, Mailchimp etc).

Essential: Strong communications skills and experience of building stakeholder relationships.

Desirable: Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Desirable: Online advertising experience (e.g. Google Ads, paid social media).

Desirable: Video editing skills (e.g. Adobe Premier)



Essential: Knowledge of the key elements of direct marketing.

Essential: Knowledge of targeted messaging and using appropriate calls to action.

Essential: Knowledge of key marketing measures of success, including email metrics.
