Our client a well-recognised professional membership body based in London is currently recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join their marketing team.

To support in the delivery of marketing campaigns and activities to generate prospective member leads and drive retention of existing members. To support in promoting the value of the association and it’s services to key audiences and stakeholders. You will be part of team 4. This made up of director, marketing manager, senior marketing executive and marketing executive.
Supporting in the delivery of the association’s member recruitment, retention & renewal marketing strategies & campaigns
Assisting in the development & creation of print & digital marketing activity & collateral to support member recruitment, retention & renewal
Supporting in the planning, delivery & promotion of physical & virtual industry exhibitions attended by the association
Supporting in the planning delivery & promotion of regional & national events
Maintaining, updating & uploading website content - working with stakeholders & content owners from across the association
Reporting & monitoring of key website metrics, goals & activity
Planning & executing various email marketing campaigns
Managing, updating & maintaining the association’s email marketing database
Reporting & monitoring of key email marketing campaign metrics
Working with teams across the association to support the promotion of the services they provide
Supporting in the ongoing promotion of existing & new member benefits, services, discounts, tools & content
Managing & executing associate member marketing activity
Liaising with associate members and internal teams to co-ordinate the delivery
Supporting in the ongoing review & updating of all marketing collateral
Management of the association’s stock & distribution of all marketing collateral
Management of the association’s stock & distribution of branded merchandise
Supporting the comms team with social media post scheduling
Scheduling and posting of internal communications to the association’s intranet
Experience, Knowledge and Skills required:
Experience with both on and offline marketing activities - Essential
Proficient in e-mail marketing & e-mail marketing platforms (we use Pardot but experience with similar systems will suffice) - Essential
Experience working with CMS platforms (we use Kentico but experience with similar systems will suffice) - Essential
Experience with exhibitions & events, including planning and promoting - Desirable
Knowledge in using reporting tools such as Google Analytics - Desirable
Highly organised with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously - Essential
Excellent written and proof-reading skills - Essential
Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to pick up new software packages easily - Essential
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (in particular - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Desirable
