Basic Salary £100,000 plus bonus and share options, £4K car allowance, pension 3% employer, 5% employee & holiday.
Full Time Permanent Role
Our client who is a highly respected Fire Safety/Health and Safety consultancy is seeking a highly commercial Managing Director with knowledge of delivering compliant solutions and Quality Assurance in a ISO 9001 environment.
All applicants will need to be able to evidence work and delivering profit and growth in a similar environment as a prerequisite for the role.
The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic priorities and provide certainty in the growth trajectory and business resilience
Contribute to and execute the companies strategic priorities in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
Provide strategic advice to the board so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future
Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement of the strategic priorities by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
Oversee the business model delivery
Execute the brand promise and culture core values and beliefs
Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times and that liabilities are mitigated
Communicate and maintain trust in relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures in alignment with the group growth plans
Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
Alignment of the Senior Management team to drive performance, prevent issues and resolve problems
Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile and oversee all major sales activities
Identify problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
Proven experience as Managing Director or other managerial position
Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
Strong understanding of SME financial control and measures of performance
Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to make high quality and timely adjustments and decisions to keep the business focused and successful
Experience in strategic sales.
Track record in central key role of a business with 35% plus CAGR with profit at 18% plus and GM of 50% plus
Track record of a quality assurance environment with good governance
Head count 70-200 employees
