Central London (Once restrictions are fully lifted)

Full Time, Permanent

Up to £90,000 commensurate with experience plus benefits including 25 days holiday pension scheme, private medical insurance, group life assurance, permanent health insurance, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, eye care scheme & benefits portal access

 

A stunning brand new role to take forward a not-for-profit employer-led organisation which brings together employers and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to strengthen the flow of talent into digital careers, as a new subsidiary of a leading and highly respected technology focussed Trade Association.

 

The new Managing Director will inspire employer collaboration, provide unique, highly valued services for HEIs, and grow the organisation’s reputation for creating the most employable graduates in the UK.

 

The MD will develop and implement the forward strategy, including maintaining and growing the customer base, exploiting new synergies, and making the most of opportunities for new products, services and projects.

Key Responsibilities

 

Oversee the successful transition of the existing NFP organisation into a subsidiary of a leading technology focussed trade association, including retaining university customers, Employer Board members and staff.

 

Deliver on 2020-21 key performance measures, including university satisfaction, employer engagement and financial performance.

 

Develop and deliver a business plan for substantial growth which has the commitment of the Boards and staff and maximises synergies with the wider Trade Association.

 

Establish widespread recognition for the UK’s industry accreditation for higher education relevant to the digital sector.

 

Ensure the organisation is consistently leading edge in responding to changing market dynamics, new opportunities and technological advances.

Desirable

 

Experience in industry and / or government. Understanding of degrees, apprenticeships and / or accreditation.

Experience in Higher Education, Further Education, awarding bodies and / or work-based learning.

Bid writing, business plan development.

Online presence / digital strategies.
