My client a reputable and established professional membership body is currently searching for a Finance Business Partner.  


The Role


To work closely with budget holders, liaising with key decision makers within the Institute, influencing and presenting financial and management information and encompass all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and reporting.  To lead the Financial Planning and Analysis Team.


The ideal candidate for this role with be commercially minded and have a natural flair for analysis and data manipulation.  Our client has a global reach and is seeking to find someone who can be a real asset to the business by managing and motivating 2 direct report alongside the Financial Accountant.


Management Accounts experience, as well as a passion for data analysis, is a definite prerequisite  for this role.


Person Specification


Will require a full professional accounting qualification or be a finalist in ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Good finance and non-finance systems skills with an appreciation of their use within an organisation of a similar size and / or complexity as the institute

Microsoft Excel skills to intermediate to advanced level (some VBA would be useful) and Microsoft Dynamics / Power BI would be useful

Significant experience of report writing and data manipulation for management information purposes

Will have significant experiences of financial processes and procedures as well as reporting up to a senior level

Experience of line managing a small team of accounting staff

Good communication skills both verbally and in writing as the ability to persuade, hold credibility and motivate will be critical
