Our client a well-recognised professional membership body with over 34,000 students and members is currently seeking to appoint an Employer Account Manager to work from home and travel to clients and the central London offices.

 

The Role

 

Working closely with the Head of Outreach the Employer Development Manager is responsible for managing our existing UK and offshore employer accounts as well as identifying new opportunities with employers, training providers and higher education partnerships to grow the numbers undertaking the institute’s core qualifications and training.

 

Major Objectives

Increasing the number of students and learners by identifying and winning business from new and existing employers and tuition providers

Positioning the institute’s full range of qualifications and training services to support existing employers and developing relationships with new

Increasing the number of university accreditation partnerships

Increasing demand for the institute’s products and services by engaging with business and their networks

Providing regular market insight based on your activity.

 

Person Specification

At least 4 years’ experience in a commercial business development, sales or account management role

Ability to identify and exploit commercial opportunities (employer training needs and provide solutions on methods of delivery and products)

Understanding of training market for organisations

Excellent communication and persuasion skills, both orally and in writing

Confident, credible with very strong networking skills (we deal in with FTSE 100 organisations at senior level)
