Northampton Office Based

Basic Salary £20,000-£23,000 dependant on experience

Permanent, Full Time

 

Our client a well-respected and reputable professional membership body based in Northampton is currently looking for a Communications Coordinator

 

The Role

 

The Communications Co-ordinator provides day-to-day support to all communication streams including PR, Marketing, Events and Digital Instructure function, and the related administration.  This role involves assisting with the publication of the Association’s printed journal and supporting website, maintaining website content, digital communications including newsletters, blogs and social media.

Person Specification

 

A degree or similar qualification in communications or marketing and at least 2 years’ experience in either a communications or marketing role

Knowledge of social media platforms and their associated analytics

Experience of writing engaging copy that meets the needs different audiences and stakeholders

Good time management, and the ability to plan ahead

Excellent written and verbal communications

Experience of creating graphics and adverts

Good customer relationship skills

Ability to work collaboratively and independently across the business

Basic knowledge of html and experience in creating content for websites and e-mail communications

Proof reading experience

Experience of using a content management system

Self-motivated, proactive approach to working

Relevant IT skills – Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Photoshop
