Technology Led – Workplace, Fire Safety, Enterprise Software Consultancy Company

City of London

Basic Salary £75,000, OTE: £140,000 plus excellent benefits including pension 3% employer, 5% employee & holiday.

Full Time Permanent Role

 

Our client who is a highly respected Fire Safety/Health and Safety, Enterprise Software consultancy is seeking a highly commercial Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and executing on opportunities and relationships to grow sales and revenue streams.

 

The purpose of the role is to drive company’s growth in software sales, mobile apps and professional services advisory by accelerating customer and logo acquisition, in specific verticals to meet quota (quantity, type and timeliness) whilst implementing the sales go to segment plans.

 

You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from finding new opportunities generated yourself to developing highly compelling sales proposals and influencing the entire buying process, through to contract negotiations, closing business and finally initial project handover.

 

This is an ideal role for a high achiever looking at growing with the company and very self motivated.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

 

Graduate 2:1, MBA calibre

Has won at least 5 deals over 500k and had experienced many complex decisions making units over 3 decision making units.

Sold software for B2B for business.

Had less than 3 jobs in five years in companies growing at more than 20%.

Has had to present credentials and demo without assistance.

Has had experience of tenders and been part of a pitch team.

Has had 3 continuous years of hitting targets.

Strong communications skills verbally, pitching and creating sales communications.

Strong forecasting experience with track record for accuracy.

Experience of challenger sales or equivalent methodology.

In-depth skill and experience of complexity in strategic sales.

Organisation skills to meet activity and implement plans in full.
